BPC-157

Peptides

BPC-157 is a peptide that is originally derived from a protein found in the body. It’s commonly used by bodybuilders & athletes in general to accelerate recovery from injuries, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall recovery. Unlike most other compounds, BPC-157 is non-hormonal & does not target androgen receptors at all but instead focuses on enhancing the body’s natural healing processes.

How it works:

BPC-157 works by promoting angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels, which improves blood flow to injured tissues and accelerates the healing process.

How to use it:

Dosing for Tissue Repair and Recovery: BPC-157 is typically dosed between 200 mcg to 1,000 mcg per day, depending on the severity of the injury and the user’s goals. For general recovery that will work for many individuals, a dose of 200-500 mcg per day is common.

Cycle Length: BPC-157 can be used for extended periods depending on the user’s recovery needs. A typical cycle lasts 4-6 weeks but can be continued longer for chronic injuries or ongoing recovery support.

Benefits:

Accelerated Tissue Healing: BPC-157 is known for its ability to rapidly heal damaged tissues, making it effective for muscle, tendon, and ligament repair. It promotes faster recovery from injuries or surgery.

Reduced Inflammation: BPC-157 has potent anti-inflammatory properties, helping reduce inflammation in joints and muscles, which is mainly beneficial for athletes and those dealing with chronic pain or inflammation.

Improved Gut Health: BPC-157 has been shown to help repair the gut lining, making it useful for individuals with gastrointestinal issues such as ulcers or leaky gut.

Enhanced Joint and Muscle Recovery: BPC-157 is beneficial when it comes to joint recovery along with reducing the length of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness)

Potential Side Effects:

I personally haven’t experienced any side effects but every individual is different. Here are the only side effects I have heard of:

Mild Irritation at Injection Site: Some users may experience mild irritation or redness at the injection site. This can be minimized by rotating your injection sites and ensuring proper injection techniques are being used consistently.

Nausea: In some cases, some users report nausea when using BPC-157. Starting with a lower dose and gradually increasing it can help prevent this.

Dizziness or Lightheadedness: While uncommon, a few users have reported dizziness after using BPC-157. Staying hydrated and using the peptide in a well-fed state can help reduce the likelihood of this side effect.

My Experience:

I have been using BPC-157 for the past 5 weeks & I am glad I started taking it. Even though it’s banned by WADA and made me lose my “natty card” by their standards, I don’t care. Before taking BPC-157 & TB-500 consistently, I couldn’t do any bicep training for 7 months straight.

I let it rest that entire time while still training back & nothing changed. However, after 2 weeks of using both BPC-157 & TB-500 consistently, I’m now able to train my biceps very hard & it’s not painful at all.

I personally didn’t have any side effects but I know that some people do. As always, DYOR first and see if it’s the right decision for you. DM me on Instagram if you have any questions!
