Tadalafil

Miscllaneous

Cialis, also called tadalafil, is a drug mainly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and an enlarged prostate (BPH). It's part of a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. While it's mostly known for helping with sexual function, some bodybuilders and fitness fans use Cialis to boost blood flow and muscle pumps during workouts.

How it works:

Cialis stops the PDE5 enzyme, which is found in the smooth muscle of the penis and lungs. This increases a chemical called cGMP that relaxes muscles and boosts blood flow to specific areas, like the penis and muscles during exercise.

How to use it:

Dosing: For fitness, lower doses like 5-10 mg a day can work well, which is less than what’s used for ED. Some people take it only on workout days for better performance.

Cycle Length: Cialis can be taken daily because it stays in the body for about 17.5 hours. It can also be taken only when needed, such as before a workout for better blood flow.

Benefits:

Better Blood Flow: It improves blood flow to muscles, helping deliver nutrients and get rid of waste, which can improve workout performance and recovery.

  • Bigger Muscle Pumps: By widening blood vessels, Cialis can help give bigger muscle pumps during workouts, which may also help muscle growth by stretching the muscle.

  • Improved Heart Health: By boosting blood flow, it helps the heart work better during both strength training and cardio workouts.

  • Supports Sexual Health: Cialis treats erectile dysfunction, which can be impacted by other drugs bodybuilders might use.

Potential Side Effects:

Headaches, Stomach Upset, Back Pain: Common side effects due to increased blood flow. Drinking water and using over-the-counter pain meds can help.Dizziness and Flushing: These can happen because of blood pressure changes. Keeping track of your blood pressure and lowering the dose can help.Long Erections: Rarely, Cialis can cause erections that last over 4 hours (priapism), which needs medical attention.

Drug Interactions: Cialis can react with certain heart medications, causing dangerous drops in blood pressure. It is recommended to not combine tadalafil with anything that lowers your blood pressure.

My Experience:

I have personally been using tadalafil consistently for over two years at this point. I used to take it daily but now I take it every other day. I mainly like using tadalafil for much better pumps in the gym along with enhancing … other activities … (I’m sure you can guess what I’m referring to).
